Phlebotomy

Become a certified phlebotomy technician in eight weeks — the skilled hands behind every lab result.

Phlebotomists fulfill vital roles at hospitals, physician offices, diagnostic labs and blood donation centers. They are primarily responsible for collecting blood samples from patients via venipuncture or capillary puncture. The phlebotomist also facilitates the collection and transportation of laboratory specimens and is often the patient's only contact with the laboratory staff.

This program is only open to employees of our corporate partners. If you would like our team to reach out to your employer about partnership, email Tara Hunter at tmhill@memphis.edu.
