The law school is proud to announce that our students who took the TN Bar Exam for the first time in July 2026 passed at the highest rate we have recorded since 2013 - an 86.54% passage rate!

University of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ School of Law & UT Martin form 3+3 Degree Program
ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law and the University of Tennessee at Martin signed a memorandum of understanding this Fall, which enables students at UT Martin seeking a degree in the legal field to complete their bachelor’s degree with a year at ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Law that would go toward a postgraduate degree from that institution. Alumni Spotlight: The Vergos Family
The Vergos family name is at the heights of BBQ royalty thanks to the world-famous Charlie Vergos' Rendezvous in downtown ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ. But three of these BBQ scions all decided to call the University of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law home as well. John Vergos ('73), Ellen Vergos ('76), and Anna Vergos Blair ('10) all graced the halls of ÁñÁ«ÊÓƵ Law over the years on their way to becoming attorneys.
